Reflection
In my nutrition class, there were a few things that reminded me of my fitness class that I took. We as well were asked to write down what we have eaten for a month just as in this class. I can see how much fitness and nutrition support one another depending on what you're trying to accomplish as a goal. For example, if I wanted to lose weight there is an amount of exercise I need to do every day in order to reach my goal. Exercise alone will not do anything unless you make changes as well of what you eat.
Before, taking this class I had a little knowledge about nutrition such as I knew eating junk food all the time is something not good for you and you need to have a balance of different food groups.
Now I think nutrition is super important to consider to have a healthy lifestyle in general. When asked in the research assignment to pick a chronic disease that family members may have helped we visualize how important nutrition is in order to live healthier lives but it depends on the health food choice that we make. I feel the way I would approach nutrition in the future depending on the food choice I make. Like at work our company provide free soda. Although, soda is good but it's not the best option of drink I could make. Learning to make those healthy choices now will be easier to make them in the future.
